Patient Travel

We address patient travel needs in alignment with Health Canada’s Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) Medical Transportation Policy. To ensure that reimbursement for travel is processed efficiently, community members must provide travel-related information to the Human Services Department at least one week prior to the appointment. Required details include the physician’s name, contact number, as well as the date and time of the appointment.
