Committees
Our government oversees and participates in Uchucklesaht and intergovernmental committees, which are responsible for fisheries, wildlife, education, health, economic development and other matters.
Uchucklesaht Committees
During the first meeting of council after each election – the committee representation list is reviewed and updated.
These are committees that Council has appointed council and staff representation on. The Council also has the authority to put in place other Committees and Working Groups of which they develop terms of references for. It is the Uchucklesaht Council that appoints representation on the various committees, and it is the directors that appoint people to sit on working groups.
Uchucklesaht Tribe Government participates in multiple internal and external committees.
