Governance
The Uchucklesaht Tribe Government includes both hereditary and elected representatives, who democratically exercise all law-making authority as set out in the Maa-nulth Treaty and non-Treaty agreements with Canada or British Columbia.
It is the desire of the Uchucklesaht government to govern in a manner that is responsible, transparent, democratic and accountable, blending hereditary and modern-day governing institutions.
