Governance within the Uchucklesaht Tribe Government
We are the Uchucklesaht Tribe Government, the sole legal entity entrusted by the Uchucklesaht people to democratically exercise all legislative authority as per the Maa-nulth Treaty.
We are one of the nuučaan̓uł (Nuu-chah-nulth) nations whose historical connection to our lands and right to self-determination and self-government has been enshrined in modern law by the Maa-nulth Treaty.
